If you stimulate a muscle enough that it needs to adapt to make itself stronger, you’re going to add muscle mass and, of course, get stronger.

I’ve spoken about delayed onset muscular soreness before and mentioned that your muscles undergo a certain level of micro trauma if they are stressed sufficiently (This can be seen in the middle picture)

The body then rebuilds the muscle to be bigger and stronger (As seen in the bottom picture)

This process is often the cause of the soreness you experience post workout.

This won’t make your muscles huge overnight though. It takes years of constant stimulation to truly see major size and strength differences if you’ve been already working out. If you’re new to the gym, you’ll probably see faster gains 😊👍🏼 .

Pranzo con insalata fredda di fagioli borlotti, tonno al naturale, olive nere ed olio evo. Cena con salmone e patate, entrambi al forno ed altra verdura. Spuntino mattutino con gelato leggero, fior di fragola o ghiacciolo qualsiasi.

I dag er sådan en “no plans”-dag; jeg har intet fast på programmet før i aften, hvor vi skal til aftensmad hos L.s forældre.
Det er nu meget rart. Jeg har haft nogle dage, hvor jeg har været bekymret over en “klump” i halsen, som dukkede op, efter det blev konstanteret, at jeg er lidt overbehandlet for mit stofskifte. Jeg var selvfølgelig nervøs for, om det var min skjoldbruskkirtel, der var hævet op. Og så kom det bare oveni de andre symptomer, jeg har oplevet de sidste par uger (hjertebanken, svimmelhed, voldsom træthed osv.). Så jeg var forbi lægen i går igen, men det er heldigvis helt ufarligt 😌 #pheeew

🥔80KCAL HEALTHY TORTILLA RECIPE🥔
🇺🇸A cold tortilla is really cool by this weather☀️
The recipe is for 6 servings (490kcal) :
1️⃣Peel and cut 250gr of potatoes in small cubes.
2️⃣Cook them with a bit of water in the microwave for 8min or in boiling water for 20min.
3️⃣Peel and cut 100gr of onions in slices.
4️⃣Cook them in a pan with a bit of water until they soften.
5️⃣Put everything in a bowl and add 1 whole egg and 350ml of liquid egg whites from @team.nutrition.france (-10% code MAX10)
6️⃣Add some salt and pepper then mix everything together.
7️⃣Cook in on medium heat in a frying pan with a bit of non stick cooking spray from @team.nutrition.france
8️⃣Cover with a lid and let it cook for 7-10min.
9️⃣Flip it on a plate and put it back in the pan for 3min.
🔟Let it cool down in the fridge and enjoy😉

La recette est pour 6 portions :
1️⃣Peler et couper 250gr de pommes de terre en dés.
2️⃣Les faire cuire avec un peu d’eau 8min au micro onde ou 20min dans de l’eau bouillante.
3️⃣Peler et couper en lamelles 100gr d’oignons.
4️⃣Les faire cuire dans une poêle avec un peu d’eau jusqu’à ce qu’ils ramollissent.
5️⃣Mettre le tout dans un bol et ajouter 1 oeuf et 350ml de blanc d’œuf liquide de chez @team.nutrition.france (-10% code MAX10)
6️⃣Ajouter du sel et du poivre et mélanger le tout.
7️⃣Faire cuire la préparation à feu moyen dans une poêle avec un peu de spray cuisson @team.nutrition.france
8️⃣Mettre un couvercle et laisser cuire 7-10min.
9️⃣Retourner la polenta sur une assiette puis la remettre dans la poêle pour 3min.

This week I’ve been training consistently and living by the 80/20 rule when it comes to diet. It’s all in prep for next week where I’ve decided to challenge myself and cut my calories back to 1550. My goal in doing this is to try and drop some excess weight I’m currently carrying and take that next step to challenge myself. Now without a doubt, strength will at some point, especially in a prolonged deficit, take some kind of a hit. But how much we lose is going to depend on the intensity we apply to our sessions.

Even when cutting, we should be training as if we are still trying to build muscle. Training such not change just because the goal may of altered from gaining to losing. .

Here’s me pressing 60kgs at the peak of my off season. 11 weeks in and I’m still able to push between 50-55kg depending on the day. This is simply down to mindset.

So, although you will lose strength. Do not let the fact you’re cutting get into your head. Focus on pushing yourself just as hard as ever.

Indubbiamente uno dei dolci più conosciuti per via della sua semplicità e sopratutto per la sua bontà!La base di savoiardi e crema al mascarpone da unire al caffè rendono questo dolce il più amato dagli italiani!
Ecco,oggi vi propongo una versione un po’ particolare, sicuramente non paragonabile all’orginale ma molto molto più healthy, da poter gustare anche tutti i giorni!

Servono soltanto dello yogurt greco magro e dei fiocchi di avena.
La ricetta è semplicissima👐🏻
Versate in un pentolino i fiocchi di avena (in questo caso ho utilizzato quelli aromatizzati al caffè, ma vanno bene di qualsiasi tipo ), con dell’acqua o del latte e mescolate finché i fiocchi si rapprendono e saranno pronti per essere versati nel vostro contenitore, creando così il primo strato dell’ #avenamisù!
Poi prendete lo yogurt magro e dolcificatelo (io ho utilizzato dello sciroppo d’agave, ma va bene qualsiasi dolcificante naturale) e create il secondo strato! Adesso è il momento di sbriciolare una manciata di.....👂🏻🔊 Corn Flakes si! creando così il terzo e penultimo strato!
come ultimo passaggio unite del cacao amaro con della polvere di burro di arachidi, versate dell’acqua o del latte fino ad ottenere una consistenza ottimale per creare una cremina soffice e densa che andrà versata per formare lo strato finale nel nostro #avenamisù!
Io infine ho aggiunto della granella di pisticchio, ma voi potete sbizzarrirvi e decorarlo in qualsiasi modo!
Bastano 4/5 ore in frigorifero (meglio ancora tutta la notte) ed è pronto per essere servito e mangiato senza nessun senso di colpa!

Eu NUNCA vou entender essa mistificação de consumi-lo puro em jejum, que volta e meia o pessoal pergunta. Por que alguém faria isso? Não é muito mais normal fazer uma deliciosa limonada?
Álcool é low carb, mas é certamente melhor beber uma taça de vinho do que 15ml de álcool puro no café da manhã. Embora, em termos de quantidade de álcool, seja a mesma coisa. Mas pra quê? Vinho não é uma forma muito mais saborosa e normal de beber álcool?
Eu acho que as pessoas buscam rituais primitivos de purificação, nos quais a 'evolução espiritual' se dá pela dor e pelo sacrifício. É como se não se pudesse buscar a saúde com simplicidade e prazer (limonada no almoço), mas apenas sendo forte, obstinado, contraindo cada músculo do rosto e bebendo limão puro e morno em jejum. 'Se for fácil, não será eficiente'. Se for sem sacrifício, não aplacará a ira dos deuses.
Pessoal, o limão será absorvido até mesmo se for introduzido no reto como supositório. Mas o seu desconforto trará apenas dor, e não virtude.
Não há progresso sem sacrifício, mas sacrifício sem fundamento é estupidez.
