Two years ago, I was still going through some depression due to a couple life situations that had then happened (one of them including the break up with my then gf lol 😂) and I began eating so much as an anxiety outlet, legit binging on wing stop and everything yummy haha🍗🐷 I had no measure and I ended up weighing 270lb. One day, while talking to a nutritionist, he told me “you’re cool and all but you have to live what you recommend, you gotta lead a healthy life as a future doc” and those words struck me, and I then realized how bad I needed to change my ways and look after me...for me. .
Thank God I have persevered and two years later, I yet again come to realize, that you always gotta put your sanity first, that if you try your best to be better for you, then you can also give a better you to those around you. Never in selfishness but always for a better tomorrow. .
Here’s to dedication and progress! Because it’s not the amount in anything that matters, but the process you have enjoyed and endured. The lesson you continue to take away.
