Preheat cast iron pan to medium high

Add the ghee, Cook the Pattie, dont not touch for 3 minutes.
4. Sauté the mushrooms and spinach until wilted on the other side around 3 minutes.
5. Turn over Pattie and repeat ^ 3 Minutes do not touch or fiddle! Otherwise will not create a crust and will stick and break!
6.
Slice an avocado 🥑
7.
Turn heat off and place a spinach a spinach leaf like a wrap or use collard green or lettuce wrap, whatever is at your disposal!
8.
Season to taste, Tuck in and enjoy!
Add some tomatoes for some freshness & herbs 🌿

🌱When life gives you black beans, make burgers!!! These EASY YUMMY black bean + corn burgers (gluten-free) are a staple in our house. I hope you try them. Served with rustic sweet potato fries 🍠and easy guacamole.🥑Have a fantastic day. 💚
🌱Recipe smokey black bean + corn burger: In food processor, pulse 1-1/2 cups black beans until partly mashed with some whole beans remaining. Boil 1 large corn on stovetop and remove kernels with sharp knife once cooked. (Even better if you can roast the corn over a gas burner.) Combine in a large bowl: mashed beans, corn kernels, 1 finely diced large red onion, 2 large handfuls baby spinach leaves (roughly chopped), 1/2 cup cilantro (chopped), 2 tbsp tahini, 2 tbsp coconut aminos or low-sodium tamari/soy sauce, juice 1 lime, 2 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp ground cumin, 1-2 tsp chili powder, salt+pepper to taste. Mix with hands (or spoon) and gradually add oat flour until sticky enough to form patties (no more than 1 cup). Use hands to make roughly 7 burgers. Burgers shouldn’t be too thick or they won’t cook as well. (Optional: brush surface of burgers with a little olive oil.) Bake on lined baking sheet at 375F about 25 minutes, flipping half way. (Or you can even air fry these at 400F about 15-20 minutes.) 🌱Recipe: Easy guacamole: mix together 3 very ripe avocados (mashed), juice 1 lime, 2 finely grated garlic cloves, salt to taste. Add sprinkle red chili flakes. .

Steak Kebabs are the one of the best summer dinners! These are layered with juicy tender pieces of flavorful, marinated beef and colorful blend of tender veggies. . The perfect thing to make for the holiday.

Ingredients
Marinade 1/4 c olive oil1/4 c soy sauce1 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice1 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar2 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce1 tbsp honey2 tsp Dijon1 tbsp garlic1 tsp freshly ground black pepper Kebabs 1 3/4 lbs sirloin steak (look for thicker steaks), cut into 1 1/4 inch pieces8 oz button or cremini mushrooms, halved (unless small, keep whole)3 bell peppers (1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow) cut into 1 1/4-inch pieces1 large red onion diced into chunks (about 1 1/4-inch)1 Tbsp olive oil, plus more for brushing grill gratesSalt and freshly ground black pepper1/2 tsp garlic powder10 wooden skewer sticks soaked in water for at least 30 minutes.
Instructions
For the marinade: In a mixing bowl whisk together all marinade ingredients. For the kebabs: place steak into a gallon size resealable bag. Pour marinade over steak then seal bag while pressing out excess air and message marinade over steak. Transfer to refrigerator and allow to marinate 3 - 6 hours. Preheat a grill over medium-high heat to about 425 degrees (partway through preheating clean grill grates if they aren't already clean). With veggies on cutting board, drizzle with oil and lightly toss to coat (I actually don't toss the onion because I like it to stay in chunks, when you thread the onion on layer in chunks about 2 - 3 slices so they don' t burn up). Sprinkle veggies evenly with garlic powder and season with salt and pepper. To assemble kebabs layer steak and veggies onto kebabs in desired order, work to fit 4 steak pieces onto each kebab (I like to layer 2 onion slices together). Brush grill grates lightly with oil. Place kebabs on grill and grill until center of steak registers about 140 - 145 degrees for medium doneness, turning kebabs occasionally, about 8 - 9 minutes. Serve warm.

Preparation is the name of the game when it comes to healthy eating. If you don’t take time to plan out your week or go to the grocery store, you are pretty much setting yourself up for failure.

Now it doesn’t have to be extravagant or complicated! Just setting aside a few hours on the weekend to plan, grocery shop and prep some meals make a world of difference. Below are some of my tips for planning ahead & remember your health is worth it!

1 - Write your meals for the week & then grocery list before you grocery shop! I think in categories of: Veggies, Fruit, Protein, Health fats & Carbs.

2 - Invest in tupperware & mason jars! You’ll be motivated to prep once you have the proper storage. (I use 16 oz mason jars for overnight oats & 32oz for salad jars.)
.
3 - Buy some seasoning to switch up the flavor easier. @Flavorgod is my current fav!
.
4 - Multi-task your food! If you have items cooking on the stove and in the oven, you’ll be done much faster!
.
5 - Don’t be afraid to start small! Small steps can add up to big results. Even cooking just lunches for the week can make a difference.

6 - Invest in some meal prep cooking tools. My current favorites are my Instant Pot, egg cooker and veggie spiralizer.

🌿the best tahini dressing:⠀⠀
mix 1 tbsp tahini, 2 tsp of maple syrup, 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard, 1 tsp of s&p, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast, 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, juice of 1/2 a lemon, (add some water if needed)⠀⠀
⠀⠀
🌿roasted sweet potatoes:⠀⠀
1.preheat oven to 425°F, & cut sweet potato into slices⠀⠀
⠀⠀
2.in a mixing bowl add cut up sweet potato with>>> 1 tbsp arrowroot starch, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tbsp paprika, 1/2 tbsp nutritional yeast⠀⠀
⠀⠀
3.roast on a baking sheet with parchment paper for 25-35 min or until nice n crispy ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
4.once they are done then add salt!!⠀⠀

i find that adding salt to the potatoes before they bake makes them soggier so adding the salt after, allows them to have the perfect amount of crisp!!⠀⠀

I have a rosemary plant in my garden I always forget about until I stumble upon it while cutting some mint for my tea or some flowers for my vase. And then, I crave these rosemary chicken thighs.
Ingredients:
10 bone-in skin-on Chicken Thighs
4 about 5-inch long sprigs of Rosemary
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 Tbsp mayo
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 F
2. Whether you wash your chicken or not, pat it dry with paper towels
3. Arrange chicken single layer in a rimmed baking dish
4. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika
5. Slather mayo on top of each piece
6. Roast for about 40 min.
