Are you someone living a “Someday” life?
> Someday I’m going to go on my dream vacation.
> Someday I will find my dream job.

This used to be me. This used to be my mindset everyday, but frankly, I wasn’t doing anything to reach these “Someday” goals. Engaging in my repetitive everyday routine definitely wasn’t going to get me there, especially when it consisted of class, work, sleep, repeat. I was tired of working hard, feeling like I was going nowhere and being stuck. More recently though, I’ve been trying to establish a relationship with my goals and visualize them to reality. As doubtful as I was about this process, I have actually surpassed many “Someday” goals. And although your “Someday” goals may be bigger, smaller, and more or less attainable than those who surround you, remember the importance of MINDSET. Instead of thinking “I wish...” or “I can’t wait until the day I...,” think about the actuality of your goals, put your goals into perspective, and create little goals for yourself along the way. It makes your goals seem much more attainable. Write them in a place you see them everyday, set it as your background on your phone...anything to change your mindset.
There are seven days in a week and “Someday” isn’t one of them.

Today marks 65 days RAW, FAT-, and SALT-FREE.

Contrary to popular and trendy diets, too much fat is not the most optimal thing for one’s body, especially if they’re navigating the world of chronic and mystery illness.
⠀⠀
Sure, types of fats matter. Avocado and coconut and nuts and seeds among other things are GREAT sources of fat—but the LEVELS matter too.
⠀⠀
As @medicalmedium explains, “The bombardment of a high-fat diet takes time and energy away from the liver performing its other duties, [like disarming and detaining harmful materials,] because it’s constantly in cleanup-in-Aisle-Three-mode.”
⠀⠀
It also requires the liver to produce different amounts and complex compositions of bile, which, although helps you in the moment, is not something you want happening repeatedly in the long-run.

For this reason, when I do consume fats, I choose them from healthy, plant-based sources (like the ones mentioned above), and keep them under 15% of my diet.

So why am I not consuming any fat? Because this is the year of Maddie’s Liver. 🥰

When I reflected upon what kind of changes I wanted to make this year, I told myself that I wanted to honor my liver, just as it has honored me for my whole life. I wanted to take my healing to the next level, and ease my liver up that much more.

I also felt inspired following @omumakali’s journey, as they recently embarked on a raw and fat-free journey as well.

Featured here is one of my favorite fat-free meals as of late: cucumber noodles with a tomato-date sauce. Those are homegrown cherry tomatoes too. ☺️

The whole family headed to the gym today early to get a workout in before evening clients. Unfortunately, the universe had been SOOOOO funny the last 2 days and I totally didn’t get a workout in.
Ava has 3 teeth trying to come in and wants lots of love. I understand this is only temporary and I have all the love to give her. Some days you can go hard and some days the babes needs you. The gym will always be there and if you have a good routine, 1 day off doesn’t damage the hard work already put in.
Today was all about baby girl. Tomorrow the universe will behave and I will destroy the gym. Well, as much as this prego body will let me 🤰🏻😂 PS Look at our baby girl flexing in her “Strong” shirt 🥰

I'm going to talk about something deemed taboo in today's society, but honestly I don't give an eff.
MONEY.
Originally when I joined Beachbody with my amazing coach Brooke Orchard I was so in awe of the empire she has created (with years of hard work and consistency) and thought that it seemed impossible but I wanted it so badly. Like this woman is literally so badass. She just spoke in front of 20k plus women at Beachbody's annual coach summit! How many people can say that?! It just so happens that Thursday's are payday for our company and while I'm not making tons of money (yet), I have been averaging $80 to $90 each week.
I know that may not seem like a lot but for me it feels amazing. That's my gas for the week or groceries or one of my utility bills. And who couldn't use that?! But sis I'm here to tell you, I have big plans for myself and goals to smash, and you can come along for the ride!

Бессонница - отнюдь не пустая жалоба, а вполне себе полноценный симптомокомплекс, характеризующийся нарушением(ями):
❌ Качества сна;
❌ Продолжительности сна;
❌ Фазовой структуры сна - почти всегда сочетается с первым, кстати;

И нет, твой безудержный поток мыслей перед волнующим событием N - это еще не бессонница, а вполне нормальная реакция твоего взбудораженного мозга 😏

Deadly deadlifts were on deck. Safe to say my back is feelin’ it. Usually, I do more than 4 sets but I had a lot of exercises I had to hit & not a lot of time today. So I made 4 my set minimum but no less than 10-15 reps per set per exercise.
