Turmeric for inflammation ahh. So yesterday started off all excited for a sunny day, falalalala. Was about to get workout gear on & hit the park. When I was struck with crippling pelvic pain, literally falling & crying in agony. All alone. It felt like my insides were braking. I calmed myself & knew exactly what it was. I've always had ovulation pain, since a decade ago. Never to this extreme though. I've had 2 scans come back fine, was told it was normal. So I let it go. Then this year the pain got worse, each ovulation.
I was hesitant, but ended up going to the ER last night. The ER was so busy by that time, lots of toxic energy, so anxiety was through the roof. Since I wasn't "dying" (just in severe pain) I decided to leave & go to the after hours doctor. I wish I had of just done that, ER don't take you seriously & have to triage lots of people. I was walking like hunch back of notridam haha. I was seen immediately by the AH doctor & got a referral for a laproscopy, which I had previously researched. It's the only procedure to see what pelvic ultrasound scans don't! The doctor listened & I now have a specialist appointment Monday.
It's a few days away, but pain is less. It moves too. One moment it feels like someone is squeezing my ovaries, then like a pushing on the exterior of my bowels & rectum, then like someone is pulling on my vagina canel. I feel like the outside of my organs are being attacked! Yes men, not fun. Imagine someone putting a fish hook on the inside of your penis & pulling up. But it's reduced a lot now. So no biggy! Lucy won't come on my belly though for some reason. Anyways I'm sure it's nothing, but I believe in listening to my body!
I'm sharing this because I want woman to know excruciating pain is never "normal" & ultrasounds don't see everything. I've had a cold & I'm losing my voice too, but could be worse. I hope no one has to go through pain alone, has people there that give a shit. I had to rely on my landlord, as the hospital was too far & expensive for uber. I felt so bad, but he insisted it was fine. So thankful. Anyways, we'll see how it goes next week. I'm determined to get out for that workout though!!!!💪
