If you’re weighing daily, every other day, or maybe even once a week, you MIGHT be damaging your self esteem without even fully understanding why the numbers seem to ALWAYS bounce around!
Women, in particularly, have SUCH unique bodies. We naturally carry MORE FAT than men due to the fact that our bodies can create a baby in the womb. We NEED fat for our own sake. Having a healthy amount of fat can help us with our hormones. .
Did you know that some competitors can lose their monthly cycle due to having such a low body fat percentage? Not all of them go through this, but according to nutritionists and trainers who specialize in this field, it can happen! .
Your body can hold onto water. It can bloat. It can send your mindset out the window if you are expecting this perfect transformation EVERY SINGLE DAY! .
Be gentle with yourself. Your body can fluctuate around 5 pounds in a DAY 😱
Instead of weighing so often, I strongly encourage you to do this:
Taking pictures once a month in the same lighting, clothes, time of day, ect. I prefer morning time after waking as water is evenly dispersed through the body and hasn’t had time to ‘hang around’ in certain areas as I like to call it 😂
Take measurements of areas like your thighs, waist, hips, arms & chest. Once a month repeat and compare to see how many inches total are lost vs gained! 💕Invest in taking the time to transition your obsessive thoughts in perfection into progress. After all you didn’t gain the extra weight in a week, don’t expect to lose it the same. We are striving for a healthy and HAPPY transformation 😘 #loveyou
